At ECI Teachers, referrals are simple and designed to support families, Key Workers, allied health teams and early learning centres who need consistent in-setting support for children under nine.
We support referrals for children with developmental delay who would benefit from regular one-to-one, non-clinical implementation support linked to their existing NDIS goals and plans.
All supports align with early childhood intervention best practice and complement the work already carried out by ECA Practitioners, Key Workers, therapists and educators.
You can refer a child through our secure online form. Once received, we contact the family to introduce their teacher, confirm goals, liaise with the early learning setting and begin planning the child’s support schedule.
ECI Teachers are available to children who are plan managed or self-managed under the NDIS. Services are billed using the following line item:
Line Item: Early Childhood Supports (Educator or Teacher)
NDIS Item Number: 15_625_0118_1_3
There are no out of pocket costs for families using plan managed or self-managed funding. Travel between settings is claimable as permitted under the NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
All fees will be clearly explained prior to families signing our Service Agreement.
